Swithland Spring Water
Swithland Spring Water is a new pure source of water from deep
beneath the Charnwood Hills in Leicestershire. It is
moderately mineralised spring water that has it's own unique and
pleasant flavour. The catchment area of Charnwood is predominantly
woodland and parkland, and still retains the unspoilt
beauty of the ancient forest.
Brian Beeby and James Burke at Hall Farm, Swithland, set up the
Swithland Spring Water Company in 1998. Following advice from
a local hydro-geologist, a borehole was sunk to the depth of 100
metres and a source of pure spring water was discovered.
Michael Hurst, a microbiologist and leading European consultant in
the cooler industry, has overseen the development of Swithland
Spring Water.
